Tiffany Csonka and Christina Romero, Parent Leaders, led a session on the role they play in engaging community members and the importance of sharing power with those we collect data from. It is essential to make more spaces where community members know where to go to sign up and be a part of collecting data and coming up with recommendations. It is also important for system professionals to learn how to show up and engage with the community. During this session, speakers provided data and tools on how to show up when we engage the community and discussed some of the barriers we often don't realize we create.
